  9. To update version 1.0 of Connections to 1.2 simply replace the program file 
  10. named CONNECT.PRG and the opening screen named CONNECT.PI3 with the new ones. 
  11. All other support files remain the same.

  14. Version 1.2 changes and additions 
  15. ---------------------------------

  17. * Automatic loading of animation files is new. If you name your animation 
  18.   graphic blocks (.ANI) using numbers at the beginning or end of the filename, 
  19.   Connections will auto-load the entire animation at once. With the old 
  20.   method you must click on each .ANI file one at a time in exact order. 
  21.   Bypass this auto-load by holding down the ALTERNATE key when choosing the 
  22.   first .ANI file from the fileselector.

  24.   Here are some examples of files that will auto-load:

  34. * Animation now supports "pingpong". This feature cycles the animation back 
  35.   and forth (forwards and backwards) in a continuous loop. Press the "P" key
  36.   after placing down your animation to activate or deactivate the pingpong
  37.   effect.

  40. * Better error correction and use of memory. Delete the opening screen 
  41.   CONNECT.PI3 to save memory.

  44. * If you plan on stacking an animation over top of a graphic child you can use
  45.   the F10 key to align the two correctly. First set up the graphic child 
  46.   then when you next choose an animation, press F10 while moving "frame one" 
  47.   around the screen with the mouse. This will display the last graphic child
  48.   and temporarily allow you to align the animation over top, just as it will 
  49.   look to the user. Press F10 again to toggle back to the original screen if 
  50.   you change your mind.

  53. * The menu bar on top of text windows can now display either,

  55.               STATIC TEXT FIELD     or      SCROLLING TEXT FIELD

  57.   Static text fields now adjust their vertical size as well as their
  58.   horizontal size to fit small text files.
